Welcome to Tanzania, your safari destination. On arrival at the Kilimanjaro international airport, you will proceed to Customs for procedures and then collect your luggage. Outside you will be met by the representative and transferred to your reserved hotel. Depending on the arrival time you may opt to rest at the hotel or stretch out for a short town tour which can be arranged separately.
You will be picked up from the hotel and taken to Arusha airport for your scheduled flight to Kogatende airstrip in Serengeti. The Northern Serengeti is known as an exceptional destination to view the great wildebeest migration. Separated from the Maasa Mara by the Mara River and its resident teeming crocodiles, a migration safari here offers exceptional and dramatic sightings of the popular river crossings. Over 10,000 sq. miles of pristine wilderness play host to the Great Migration and boast the highest density of large predators, including lions, leopards and cheetahs, in the world! Grass plains, woodlands, hills, and rivers abound. The variety and abundance of wildlife here is unmatched anywhere else in Africa.
You will be picked up at from the lodge for your scheduled flight to Ruaha where the southern circuit adventure starts. Upon arriving at the airstrip, you will be met and transferred to the camp for refreshing before embarking on a wild game drive. Ruaha national park situated on the southern-central part of Tanzania is the largest national park in the country. This vast land boasts an array of indigenous species like the Roan and Sable antelopes as well being a haven for birds with more 500 bird species identified within its habitat. There is also a huge concentration of wildlife including elephants, lions, lesser and greater Kudu, hippos and crocodiles. The Great Ruaha River flowing in line with the spectacular landscape adds to the beauty of the park. Exploring this unique park for the 3 days booked will give you a different insight to the beauty of wildlife.
Relax and unwind after breakfast before being transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Dar es Salaam. Based on your international flight schedule, you may opt to have lunch and day rooms at the hotel which can be arranged at an extra cost. END OF SAFARI
