Day 1: Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International airport where you will be met by our representative and be transferred to the Hotel. After freshening up, you will be taken for a town tour of the city. This tour will take you through to Karen Blixen Museum and the Daphne Sheldrick’s elephant shelter.

After breakfast you will be taken to the Giraffe Centre for a tour of the place. The center has an interesting history of the plight of the Rothschild Giraffe; a subspecies of the giraffe found only in the grasslands of East Africa.

This tour is both educational as well as giving an opportunity to come into contact with the world’s tallest species, the giraffe.
Winding up the tour will be a hot lunch that will be served at the hotel before embarking on a road trip to Arusha town.

Arusha town is famously known as the ‘Geneva of Africa’ as it has hosted reconciliatory meetings for different African nations. It is also the gateway to the renowned conservation areas worldwide like the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.

Following a restful night, this day you will start your safari adventure by visiting Lake Manyara national park. Situated on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, the escarpment wall gives the park a spectacular view.

Situated almost 2 hours drive from Arusha town, this park is unique for its tree climbing lions and soda ash lake that hosts thousands of flamingo birds both Lesser and Greater species. It is a vital conservation area for the breeding of Flamingos and their vibrant pink plumage creates a beautiful picture around the lake.

Enjoy a full day game viewing and stop for picnic lunch at one of the designated picnic site lunch areas.

This day will see you driving to the Ngorongoro Conservation area for a full day game viewing deep within the Crater enclosed by towering walls and hosting numerous species of large mammals wandering on the plains, lakes and forests, dominated by herds of elephants. The endangered Rhinos are a sight that can be seen in the Crater.

Known as ‘the eighth wonder of the world’ the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best-known wildlife arenas.

Make your way to Olduvai Gorge a truly magical place where the Leakey’s discovered the early hominoid remains. This archeological site famously known as The Cradle of mankind will have you trace back in time with the interesting exhibition offered at the museum. 
After exploring this archeological site, you will head to the Central part of the vast Serengeti plains.The Serengeti national park is known for its massive annual migration of wildebeest and zebra as well abundance of other animal species.

Depart for Seronera airstrip for your schedule flight to Maasai Mara national park with ETD of 08h50.

Maasai Mara is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves which together with Serengeti national park they form Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems in the world. On arrival at Mara North airstrip, you will be met and transferred to the hotel for relaxation with a game drive enroute.
